A24 and Charli XCX Unveil Teaser For ‘The Moment’ Film

Charli XCX kept things relatively quiet after dominating 2024 with her critically acclaimed project Brat. She ended the year with a standout appearance on Saturday Night Live, pulling double duty as both host and musical guest — a move that highlighted her growing range as a performer. It looks like A24 took notice. The studio is now rolling out The Moment, a mockumentary-style drama inspired by Charli’s own chaotic, rising-star persona as she prepares for a massive arena tour.

Directed by Aidan Zamiri and based on an original concept from Charli herself, the film blurs the line between fiction and the real-life energy she brought to her 2024 run. The cast is stacked as well, featuring Kylie Jenner, Rosanna Arquette, Hailey Benton Gates, Kate Berlant, Jaime Demetriou, Isaac Powell, Rachel Sennott, and Alexander Skarsgård. The Moment is headed to theaters on January 30th and could set the stage for another huge year for Charli XCX. Watch the teaser above.
