Apple Announces New 9.7-Inch iPad With Apple Pencil Support

Apple held their education event in Chicago earlier today. They announced that they will be releasing a new affordable iPad for students with Apple Pencil Support. The new 9.7-inch iPad will include longer battery life up to 10 hours, Touch ID, HD FaceTime, Apple’s A10 Fusion chip and more.

Also coming with the new iPad is over 200,000 created with education in mind. Comes with 200GB of free iCloud and it’s priced at $299 USD for students and $329 for consumers. You can order the iPad to via Apples site and it’s expected to start shipping later this week.
