Clipse Drop New Single ‘So Be It’ Ahead of New Album

At one point the G.O.O.D. Music label was a happily family. Kanye, Travis Scott, and Pusha T were crafting some of the most influential hip‑hop together. But times have changed. While Travis continues to dominate the charts, Pusha T has reunited with Pharrell and his brother No Malice to revive Clipse and drop new music. Their latest single, “So Be It,” features one of Pharrell’s strongest productions in years, and Pusha wastes no time, delivering pointed lyrical jabs at both Kanye and Travis Scott in the final verse. Pusha’s grievances stem from Travis’s behavior, he reportedly played the instrumental for “Meltdown” to Pharrell and Pusha but left out Drake’s verse dissing Pharrell, a move Pusha saw as disloyal. Now, with a beat heavy on eerie Arabic strings and backward 808s, Clipse showcase their razor-sharp lyricism, the resurgence continues strong with another high-quality release from the duo.

Take a listen to the single above. Let God Sort Em Out is on the way.
