France Defeats Croatia To Win Second World Cup Title

The 2018 FIFA World Cup came to end yesterday with France facing a determined Croatia team who had played a lot of minutes in their last three matches. Things got started in the 18th minute on a free kick from Griezmann that was deflected by Mandzukic for an own goal. Croatia seemed to get back in the game equalizing the game 10 minutes later. But the French squad was too much on this evening with a questionable penalty kick in the 38th minute by Griezmann. France added two more in 59th minute with a nice shot from Pogba and another one from Mbappe. Mandzukic added a second goal for Croatia in the 69th minute but just wasn’t enough.
