GameStop, AMC, RobinHood Shook The Stock Market Today
It was a crazy day for the stock market and the normal people buying stocks. Reddit’s Wall Street Bets shook the stock market this week after GameStop’s stock (GME) rose to nearly $500 a share. This morning AMC, Nokia (NOK) and other shorted stocks were set to make some heavy moves but then Robinhood decided to stop letting users trade these stocks due to volatility. If you were online you saw this trending and the internet went crazy until the closing bell. This is a huge blow if you are a retail trader hurting the “little” guys as the hedge fund investors changed the rules.
