LSU Tigers Defeats The Iowa Haweyes To Win The 2023 NCAA Womens Championship

The LSU Tigers pulled the upset.

Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes got in foul trouble early in the game forcing three of their starters to hit the bench early. The LSU Tigers were also hot in the first half hitting all kinds of threes and scoring 59 first half points.

The LSU Tigers were able to take advantage of the breaks and hold on to win their first ever NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship.
