Luka Modric Wins The 2018 Ballon d’Or

There was a lot of speculation that Luka Modric was going to win the  2018 Ballon d’Or ending Ronaldo and Messi’s 10-year streak. Luka had a great 12 months on the pitch and he had a great 2018 World Cup with Croatia leading them all the way to Final. We might not agree with the final decision (Ronaldo, Griezmann, Mbappe all had great years) but the award has been given to him.
