VF Corp. Buys Supreme in $2.1 Billion Deal

It has been a long journey since Supreme opened it’s first store on Lafayette Street in downtown Manhattan in 2013. Today it was announced that VF Corp. who is the parent company for Vans and Timberland has purchased the legendary brand for a whopping $2.1 billion dollars. That is a big win for founder James Debbia who was taken this brand to levels no one could imagine. It will be interesting to see the direction for the brand who has a cult of retail buyers.
