Villarreal Stuns Manchester United to Win 2021 EUFA Europa League Championship

Manchester United came in as favorites for the 2021 Europa League Final against Villarreal. They hit a roadblock falling behind 1-0 in 29’ minute thanks to a goal from Gerard Moreno for Villareal. Edinson Cavani tied it in the 55’ minute but Manchester United couldn’t get through again a solid Villareal defense. 

The game in 1-1 in regulation and extra times eventually going to penalties. It was crazy shootout with over 20 penalty kicks with Villareal wining the trophy 11-10.
