Watch Kobe Bryant’s Oscar-Winning Short ‘Dear Basketball’

This short hits different now. With the world mourning the death of Kobe, his daughter Gianna and the other passengers in the helicopter, Granity Studio has released the short film Dear Basketball for fans to watch it for free.

He short animated film won an Academy Award two years ago for “Best Animated Short Film” and is narrated by Kobe Bryant himself. It’s pretty much a poem for his love for the game of basketball and how he felt the last season he played. Our condolences go out to Kobes family and the families of the passengers.
