True UFC fans understand the impact Mark Kerr had on the sport in its early days. Known for his dominance in the octagon and turbulence outside of it, Kerr’s story is now being brought to life in The Smashing Machine, directed by Benny Safdie. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson takes on the lead role, with Emily Blunt starring as his wife, Dawn Staples, as the film explores his rise in MMA and battle with addiction.
