The song and music video for “Stan” is, in our opinion, one of the greatest musical releases in history. Eminem wrote a masterpiece that created a cultural phenomenon still referenced in pop culture today. Fittingly, Stans will be the title of Eminem’s upcoming documentary, executive produced by Paul Rosenberg, Stuart Parr, Antoine Fuqua, Tony DiSanto, and David Schiff.

While 8 Mile gave fans a glimpse into his come-up, much of Eminem’s life has remained a mystery, his music often being the only window into his personal world. Stans aims to change that, offering an inside look at his relationship with fans, his private life, and the highs and lows of his legendary career. The documentary will feature archival footage, reenactments, new interviews, and more. Directed by Steven Leckart, the film will have a limited run in AMC theaters from August 7–10.
