Air Jordan 6 ‘Olympic’ Official Look + Release Date
The 2024 Summer Olympics are set to kick off later this month. The Men’s USA Basketball has assembled an Avengers team with LeBron James, Steph Curry, Anthony Davis, Devin Booker, and other NBA All-Stars. Jordan Brand is taking advantage of the Olympics and bringing back the legendary Air Jordan 6 “Olympic.” Even though his Airness never wore this colorway, the AJ 6 “Olympic” was introduced in 2000 for the Sydney Games and became a sneaker cult sensation.
Last seen in 2012 for the London Games, this pair is returning for its third release, retaining all the key details of its original colorway. The tumbled leather upper features a navy blue base with white overlays, accented by red Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel, mirroring the colors of the American flag. An icy-translucent sole completes the sneaker, providing a stylish foundation for this iconic design.
In general, the Air Jordan 6 has always been one of the best sneakers MJ wore during his career. So, every time a colorway is brought back, it makes noise, especially the “Olympic” colorway for the Summer Games. This is a great sneaker to have on your rotation, and they will be available August 3rd via Nike.com
