Apple Introduces New iPads, Pencil Pro, Magic Keyboard and More

Apple held its “Let Loose” event today, introducing a redesign of its iPads and more. It had been almost two years since Apple users had seen new iPad models. The biggest news is the introduction of a 13-inch iPad Air, which will be an alternative to the iPad Pro 13-inch with the M4 chip.

The 13-inch iPad Air has an M2 chip and a huge price difference. This model is aimed at lighter users and basic tasks. Still powerful enough for productivity.

Also introduced during the event was their in-house processor chip M4. It has a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU and is constructed using a highly efficient 3nm process. The Apple Pencil gets the Pro treatment supporting haptic feedback and a new squeezing gesture to open up a menu. It also allows you to change brush shapes by rolling the Pencil and supports Find My.

Another standout product introduced is a revamped Magic keyboard, a new Final Cut Pro app for video editing, AI-powered Logic Pro, and more. You can see a recap of the event above and the full press release HERE.
