The MacBook Air has established itself as one of Apple’s industry-leading and go-to laptops. Apple has done a great job win increasing the screen size and keeping the same thin design but also making a powerful machine to own.

Today, Apple unveiled the latest 13 and 15-inch MacBook Air models featuring the groundbreaking M3 chip with Neural Engine. Boasting a robust 8-core CPU, up to a 10-core GPU, and support for up to 24GB of unified memory, the new MacBook Air showcases a remarkable 60 percent increase in speed compared to the M1 model and a staggering 13x faster performance than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air. With an impressive battery life of up to 18 hours – six hours longer than its Intel counterpart – users can expect enhanced productivity across various tasks, from everyday activities to resource-intensive endeavors like photo and video editing, as well as software development.

The M3’s next-generation GPU enables hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing, delivering exceptionally realistic gaming experiences with precise lighting, reflections, and shadows. Additionally, the new MacBook Air incorporates the latest media engine, supporting AV1 decode for more efficient and high-quality video experiences from streaming services.

The 13-inch MacBook Air featuring M3 begins at $1,099 (U.S.) or $999 (U.S.) for educational pricing, while the 15-inch MacBook Air with M3 starts at $1,299 (U.S.) or $1,199 (U.S.) for education.
