Since the tragic death of A$AP Yams in 2015, A$AP Mob has declared January 18 Yams Day. This became an event to celebrate the life of A$AP Yams and last year the event was held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and featured performances from Pi’erre Bourne, Kenny Beats, Smooky MarGielaa, Metro Boomin, Nav, Slowthai, Lil Yachty, Young M.A., Sheck Wes, and more.
This year the world is different but the crew is moving forward with Yams Day 2021 virtually. They will also handout the Yammys for the first time ever to show that the music industry doesn’t need the Grammys. Check out the promo A$AP Rocky posted on his IG and mark your calendars for January 18th.
