Charles Oliveira Out Of UFC 294 After Eye Injury, Alex Volkanovski Replaces Him Setting Up The Rematch Against Makhachev
Dana White stunned the UFC world tonight after announcing that Charles Oliveira suffered an eye cut that had to be stitched up and will not be available to fight at UFC 294. Alex Volkanovski got the call and accepted the rematch against Islam Makhachev for the undisputed lightweight title.
What more can UFC fans ask for. The first match was close and Islam Makhachev was able to retain the belt but we will see if he can do it again.
UFC 294 goes down in Abu Dhabi October 21st.
