Damian Lillard Is Headed To The Milwaukee Bucks In, Releases Farewell Song

NBA Trade

Damian Lillard was the talk of the Summer during the NBA offseason. The drama ended today as he was officially traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team trade that included the Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers. Lillard joins a stacked Milwaukee Bucks team that already includes Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and of-course Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Lillard also shared a song titled “Farewell” to the city of Portland under his rapping name Dame D.O.L.L.A which you can listen below.

The Portland Trailblazers receive Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, Milwaukee’s 2029 unprotected first-round draft pick, and unprotected Milwaukee swap rights in 2028 and 2030. They received a lot for an aging 7-time All-Star who wasn’t too happy there anymore.

The Phoenix Suns get Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little and Keon Johnson. The Suns unloaded Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton as part of their rebuild with Kevin Durant.

Very interesting moves and we will see if they pay off at the end of the season.
