Drake isn’t slowing down this summer. After dropping Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour in May, a historic three-album takeover of the Billboard 200’s top three spots, he’s been dipping his toes into country, popping up at Ella Langley’s tour stop in Arkansas. The rollout for his next move started quietly in August with a cryptic “FOMO 2026” family photo, followed by a CD jewel case teaser reading “Fear of Missing Out.”

Drake has now confirmed exactly what it is: a “not-so-short film,” directed and scored by members of his own creative team. A 25-second preview showed him riding a neon green speedboat while a narrator reflects on two versions of a life — one built on avoiding risk, the other on chasing down what you’re searching for. Some fans had pointed to his Iceman rollout, which included the official video for “High Fives,” as a possible blueprint for the format.
