Dustin Poirier Knocks Out Conor McGregor in Round 2 at UFC 257

Dustin Poirier came in as a significant underdog for his match against Conor McGregor at UFC 257. He did not back down and started attacking Conor’s calf early in the fight. For a moment it looked like Conor would get it together and dominate the fight, but Dustin Poirier’s leg kicks were too much, and he broke Conor down in the second round for the upset. This win set up the trilogy fight at UFC 264, where Poirier would go on to finish McGregor again after a leg injury ended the bout.
