Justice Drops ‘Flower In A Hurricane’ With Tame Impala, SZA & King Gizzard for GTA VI Launch Trailer
Justice releases “Flower In A Hurricane” with Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard as the theme for the GTA VI launch trailer, as Rockstar confirms the duo as the game’s score composers ahead of the November 19 release.
Justice Scores Grand Theft Auto VI
Justice is stepping into a big role for Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar has confirmed the French electronic duo as the composers of the game’s original score, and they’ve now delivered the theme song for the launch trailer, “Flower In A Hurricane.” We’ve already heard heavy hitters from the album, including Cardi B’s “Don’t Chart” and Travis Scott’s “RHYNO,” and this one adds another strong piece to the puzzle.
Justice takes the lead with help from Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. The track is an ’80s-leaning synth-rock anthem with swirling synths and a driving riff, built around harmonies from SZA and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker. It delivers the Vice City, beach-sunset feel the game is known for. It’s also another link-up for Justice and Parker, who previously teamed up on “One Night/All Night” and the Grammy-winning “Neverender.”
“Flower In A Hurricane” is streaming now as a standalone single and will appear on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, which features 34 original tracks and arrives November 19, the same day as the game. Justice has a hit with this one, and the soundtrack is really shaping up. You can find the streaming links below.
