New Submission: Watch A.CHAL’s New Video “PIRUTU”

Peruvian-American singer-songwriter A.CHAL gets spiritual on his latest song and video “PIRUTU”. Channeling deeply personal stories and otherworldly forces into his art, A.CHAL brings the traditions of his ancestral homeland of Peru to his current home of New York City in his latest video.

Wearing his personally designed Avirex bomber jacket, crafted by A.CHAL and brought to life by Al-Hassan Tour and Kwasi Kessie, the garment pays tribute to A.CHAL’s dual passions – his affinity for NYC rap, notably the Diplomats, and his ancestral roots in Peru. In a visit to the East River’s banks, A.CHAL engages in a holistic ritual. He embellishes a knit blanket with sacred stones, and partakes in a herb ritual, marking the initiation of a spiritual and creative odyssey to self-discovery. The video concludes with A.CHAL strolling to the river’s edge, gazing upon the skyline of his adopted city with a sense of pride.
