The Weeknd Lands The No.1 Spot With ‘My Dear Melancholy’

The Weeknd dropped his surprise album My Dear Melancholy album last week. Billboard has officially announce that the XO leader has landed his third consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 Charts. Moving a total of 169,000 album units in the week ending, with 68,000 coming from traditional album sales and the rest from streaming units. These are solid numbers and it’s the largest R&B album release since he dropped Starboy in 2016. My Dear Melancholy is a short project and is in preparation for a full length album scheduled to arrive later this year.
