2024 NBA Draft: 1st and 2nd Round Results

2024 NBA Draft

As expected, Bronny James goes to the Lakers with the 55th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. He will play alongside his dad for the Lakers, making it the first father-son duo to ever play in the NBA. In our opinion, the Lakers won’t compete in the Western Conference, so this is more of a move to keep LeBron happy as he begins his farewell tour. LeBron will have his son with him now, so we expect a lot of TV time and a lot of activity on social media.

For the rest of the draft, Zacharie Risacher went No.1 and was selected by the Atlanta Hawks, and Alexandre Sarr went No.2, heading to the struggling Washington Wizards. The Spurs had the 4th pick this year and grabbed Stephon Castle from UConn, which we feel was a good pick for them, adding some depth to their young lineup. Overall, there weren’t that many big names in this year’s draft, but you never know who will be the next NBA superstar. Check out the results for the first and second rounds below.
