Summer is over, and it’s officially playoff baseball. The MLB Playoffs kick off today as the Wild Card Series gets underway, with 162 games in the books and 12 teams left standing in hopes of reaching the World Series. It’s been a long road since the 2026 All-Star Game back in July, and every one of these clubs is chasing the throne the Los Angeles Dodgers claimed last October with back-to-back World Series titles. Both Chicago teams punched their tickets to the postseason, with the Cubs and White Sox each in action today. The Rays, Guardians, Brewers, and Dodgers earned first-round byes as the top seeds in their leagues, while the Yankees and Red Sox, two of the sport’s usual suspects, square off against each other just to survive the Wild Card round. Playoff baseball is always exciting, so let the fun begin. Below, you’ll find the full bracket, schedule, and results as they roll in throughout October.
