2026 MLB Playoffs: Bracket, Schedule, Results & How to Watch

Follow the 2026 MLB Playoffs from the Wild Card Series through the World Series with the complete postseason bracket, schedule, scores and results. This page will be updated throughout October as teams advance and the road to the World Series continues.

Summer is over, and it’s officially playoff baseball. The MLB Playoffs kick off today as the Wild Card Series gets underway, with 162 games in the books and 12 teams left standing in hopes of reaching the World Series. It’s been a long road since the 2026 All-Star Game back in July, and every one of these clubs is chasing the throne the Los Angeles Dodgers claimed last October with back-to-back World Series titles. Both Chicago teams punched their tickets to the postseason, with the Cubs and White Sox each in action today. The Rays, Guardians, Brewers, and Dodgers earned first-round byes as the top seeds in their leagues, while the Yankees and Red Sox, two of the sport’s usual suspects, square off against each other just to survive the Wild Card round. Playoff baseball is always exciting, so let the fun begin. Below, you’ll find the full bracket, schedule, and results as they roll in throughout October.

Brewers and Rays Advance to the 2026 World Series

The Tampa Bay Rays closed out the Cleveland Guardians 4-2 in the ALCS on Monday night, sealing the American League pennant with a 7-3 Game 6 win powered by a big home run from Junior Caminero. They’ll face the Milwaukee Brewers, who swept the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in four games in the NLCS.

The 2026 World Series sets up the No. 1 seed from each league and guarantees a first-time champion. The Brewers, who had the best record in baseball at 103-59, are still chasing their first title, having lost the 1982 World Series to the Cardinals. The Rays, who went 98-64, are making their third trip to the Fall Classic after falling in 2008 and 2020. Game 1 is Friday, October 23, at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
