Catch The Official Teaser For HBO’s ‘The Idol’ New Series

HBO has been delaying The Idol series due to internal issues. The series is co-created by The Weeknd (Able Tesfaye) but has had issues with script and director issue.

According to Rolling Stone almost the entire series had to be rewritten and reshot. Now an official teaser is here along with an official release date.

The series is set to star The Weeknd as a cult leader in the entertainment business and Lily-Rose Depp as a pop star who falls for the cult leader. Intersting series and looks promising.

The Idol is set to debut on HBO Max Sunday, June 4, at 9 p.m. EST.
