Future Recruits Drake, Travis Scott and Loe Shimmy for New Banger ‘Ya Hit’
Future recruits Drake, Travis Scott, and Loe Shimmy for “Ya Hit,” a surprise single from his upcoming project, reportedly titled Infinity, produced by ATL Jacob.
Future Assembles the Avengers on “Ya Hit”
Drake has reportedly been out with Travis Scott in Houston, raising speculation that more new music was on the way. Travis has contributed to Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album with “RHYNO,” and Drake has been busy since his three-project drop of Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour. Now they link up with Future and Loe Shimmy for a surprise new single, “Ya Hit,” which Future called “the Avengers.”
The distorted, bass-heavy production, handled by ATL Jacob, sounds like the opening of a battle sequence, with Loe Shimmy leading the chorus and Sexyy Red ad-libs punctuating Drake’s lines. Drake seems to take a jab at a rival’s album sales in his verse, and Travis references Grand Theft Auto VI, which arrives November 19. The song previews Future’s upcoming project, reportedly titled Infinity, and it’s his first release since The Real Me in August. Hendrix has a good one in his hands.
