Kendrick Lamar Put On a Show at His ‘The Pop Out’ Event In Los Angeles

'The Pop Up Show: Ken & Friends"

We didn’t know what to expect at tonight’s The Pop Out: Ken & Friends show from Kendrick Lamar. He was scheduled to take over The Forum in California, but very little was shared, and he was coming off an epic battle with Drake where the internet declared him the winner with his banger “They Not Like Us.”

The show went on as scheduled, and big names like Tyler, The Creator, ScHoolboy Q, Mustard, YG, Russell Westbrook, Dr. Dre, and many others started coming to the stage. At that point you knew this would be an epic night, and K-Dot was putting on an electric show. The sound was perfect, and his onstage vibe was on point. His setlist included classics like “m.A.A.d City,” “DNA,” “HUMBLE,” “Euphoria,” and many more.

Kendrick closed the show by performing “They Not Like Us” around six times, with the crows singing it word for word. This bold and epic move from Kendrick pretty much re-ignited the beef, but I’m not sure how Drake will respond. In our opinion, this is the first time someone has challenged Drake this strongly and with a platform like this. A full crowd, live stream on Twitch and Social Media sharing clip after clip. Overall, it was an epic show, and Kendrick delivered for his hometown, uniting everyone for a peaceful night of music. The full show is still not available but you can check out some of the clips around social media below.
