Miguel Returns to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert
Miguel returns to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series with a soulful performance featuring “Sure Thing,” new songs from CAOS, and a powerful nod to his Latin roots.
Miguel Performs “Sure Thing” and New Songs at NPR Tiny Desk
Not many artists get the opportunity to return to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, but Miguel has more than earned it through the strength of his catalog. More than a decade after his first appearance, Miguel steps back into NPR’s offices for a polished performance backed by a live band and lush string arrangements. He opens the set with his breakout hit “Sure Thing” before moving into newer material from his latest project, CAOS. Miguel closes the performance by embracing his Latin roots with a Spanish rendition of “CAOS,” delivering a powerful and personal finale.
After a quieter stretch marked by personal growth and time away from the spotlight, it’s refreshing to see Miguel back in form. The performance feels like a reminder of his range and artistry—and perhaps a signal of more music to come. You can watch the full Tiny Desk performance above.
