Anderson .Paak and Cordae Perform “Airbender”
Anderson .Paak and Cordae delivered their highly anticipated joint album, Heavy Is the Crown, on Friday, and now it’s time to push the project. The duo stops by On The Radar to perform track No. 2, “Airbender.” The rollout kicked off with the single and video for “A Good Day,” and the 11-song album opens with the J. Cole-produced “58th Floor.” Production also comes from big names like 9th Wonder, Conductor Williams, Swizz Beatz, FNZ, Hollywood Cole, Soul Rasheed, Caleb Oh, and The Collective.
The collaborative album has been years in the making, with Cordae and Anderson .Paak building undeniable chemistry since their 2019 standout “RNP.” The duo kept that momentum alive with “Summer Drop” in 2024, and now they’re taking their partnership to the next level. Even the album artwork pays homage to the comedy classic Step Brothers, reflecting the playful dynamic between the two artists. Cordae’s sharp lyricism pairs effortlessly with .Paak’s soulful musicality, infectious energy, and signature charisma, making this project a worthwhile addition to your rotation.
