Netflix Unveils Trailer For Mike Tyson’s Upcoming Docuseries

Netflix unveiled the trailer for TYSON, a three-part docuseries directed by Floyd Russ exploring Mike Tyson’s rise from a rough Brooklyn childhood to boxing icon. The series, offering a more reflective look at Tyson’s life, premieres on Netflix October 13.

Inside Iron Mike’s Brooklyn Beginnings

Mike Tyson is 60 years old now and still remains one of boxing’s most recognizable faces. In 2024, he stepped into the ring for an exhibition bout against Jake Paul that went the distance. His prime fighting years are behind him, but he’s stayed active and connected to the sport ever since.

Netflix has now unveiled the trailer for an upcoming docuseries titled TYSON, directed by Floyd Russ. The three-part series will look back at Iron Mike’s rough childhood in Brooklyn and trace his rise through the sport that made him a household name.

This isn’t the first time fans have gotten a documentary look at Tyson’s life — his story has long been a topic of conversation, from his rise to fame through legal battles, public scrutiny, and defeats in the ring. But Tyson has always had a lighter, more personal side too, like his sneaker shopping trip back in 2022, and this new series promises to bring that same personal perspective to his harder story — Tyson looking back as a more mature, reflective man rather than the myth built around him.

Check out the official trailer below — TYSON arrives on Netflix October 13.
