Nike has unveiled the Ja 4 “Nightmare,” Ja Morant’s fourth signature sneaker, releasing globally August 13, 2026, for $130. The shoe arrives as Morant begins a new chapter with the Portland Trail Blazers after being traded from Memphis last month.

Ja Morant has a new home in Portland after being traded from Memphis last month. After a lot of highs and lows, Ja will take his talents to the Trail Blazers, and he’ll be doing it in the new Nike Ja 4 “Nightmare,” a name callback to the Ja 2 “Nightmare” colorway from a couple years back. This marks his fourth signature shoe, following the Ja 1 and Ja 2, and hopefully Ja can have a long, healthy season to give the shoe some real visibility on court. The design is built around Ja’s explosive, quick-twitch style of play, featuring a lightweight TPU frame that securely wraps around the foot. Underfoot, it features a responsive Cushlon 3.0 midsole with a lightweight, supercritical foam sock liner.
