The concept and setup were nothing short of incredible, creating a unique atmosphere in the heart of New York City. But while the visuals were impressive, the boxing itself didn’t quite meet the hype, according to fans and reactions online.

Teofimo Lopez delivered the most exciting performance of the night with a dominant showing against Arnold Barboza Jr. It was arguably the most entertaining fight on the card. Meanwhile, Devin Haney looked flat in his bout against Jose Ramirez. The effects of a one-year layoff were clear from the opening bell—Haney appeared hesitant and threw fewer punches than expected. Still, he managed to secure the win, as Ramirez failed to mount much of an offense.

The biggest disappointment of the night was Ryan Garcia. Whether it was ring rust or the absence of whatever edge he had in the Haney fight, Garcia looked like a shadow of his former self.
