The Wayans brothers return with the official trailer for Scary Movie 6, parodying modern horror hits ahead of its June 12 release.
It’s been 13 years since the last installment of the Scary Movie franchise hit theaters. After dominating the early 2000s with their signature parody style, Marlon and Shawn Wayans are officially back with the trailer for Scary Movie 6.
The sixth installment takes aim at modern horror hits including Ma, Smile, M3GAN, Scream, Terrifier, and Get Out, along with timely jabs at recent cultural moments. The returning cast includes Regina King and Anna Faris, alongside Lochlyn Munro, Dave Sheridan, and Jon Abrahams.
The franchise has been a box office powerhouse, generating over $895 million worldwide across five films. With the Wayans brothers back in the mix, Scary Movie 6 looks ready to bring parody back to the big screen at a time when audiences could use a good laugh.
