Top NFL Trades Going Into Week 10

The NFL trade deadline wrapped up with several surprise moves across the league. The biggest headline came from New York, where the Jets traded star cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts for Adonai Mitchell and two future first-round picks. The deal signals the Colts’ playoff ambitions while the Jets look toward rebuilding for next season.

The NFL trade window officially closed heading into Week 10, and as usual, several struggling teams made major moves to prepare for the draft. One of the biggest trades came from the New York Jets, who sit at the bottom of the AFC East with a 1-7 record and little hope of turning things around this season. The Jets traded their star cornerback, Sauce Gardner, to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, a 2026 first-round pick, and a 2027 first-round pick.

For the Colts, who currently hold a strong 7-2 record, this is a bold move signaling their intent to make a deep playoff run. Giving up two future first-rounders is a major gamble, but one they hope will pay off in pursuit of a championship.
