UFC Abu Dhabi: Sandhagen vs Nurmagomedov – Preview + Odds

UFC is coming off a not-too-exciting event in the UK last week. We say partly because the time of the fights was a bit odd, and this seemed to impact the fighters as well as the fans. But the product is too good and they will bounce back this week. Especially with the card they put together in Abu Dhabi and it will be available on ABC. No pay per view is needed to watch this one and from the start the fights will be electric.

Early in the card, Mackenzie Dern is desperate for a win and will face off against a dangerous Loopy Godinez, who is looking to move up in the ranks. Both fighters are still fairly young and are looking for a shot at the title in the stacked Strawweight division. This line is tight, and Dern will be looking to take down Loopy, who is very dangerous on her feet. This one is a must-watch fight.

Tony Ferguson is also on the card and comes into this on a 7-fight losing streak. If he loses, we might see the last of him, and he faces a dangerous Michael Chiesa. Marlon “Chito” Vera is back in action after his legendary title fight against Sean O’Malley. He faces Deiveson Figueiredo who is new to the division and this will be a new challenge for him. Chito is a slight underdog coming into this fight.

Khabib’s cousin, Umar Nurmagomedov, will fight a dangerous Cory Sandhagen in the main event. Due to his talent on the ground and ability to fight on his feet, Umar is a heavy favorite at -355. This one might end early.

It will be a fun card and UFC will bounce back from a slow previous event so don’t miss this one.
