Doechii Returns With ‘CATWOMAN’ Swamp Sessions Video

Doechii keeps her revived Swamp Sessions series rolling with “CATWOMAN,” a hard-hitting new track produced by Real Bad Man and Kal Banx. The release arrives alongside an explosive music video co-directed by Doechii and Carlos Acosta as anticipation builds for her debut studio album.

Ever since Doechii hit the scene, she’s hit the ground running. Her 2024 mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal won Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammys and delivered hits like “Anxiety.” She’s since linked up with Lady Gaga on “Runway” from The Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack and teamed with SZA on “girl, get up.” Now she’s back with “CATWOMAN,” the latest installment of her revived Swamp Sessions series, which returned earlier this month with “BOMBS” after a two-year break.

“CATWOMAN” is produced by Real Bad Man and Kal Banx, with Doechii delivering confident, aggressive bars and plenty of shots at her rivals. The video, which she co-directed with Carlos Acosta, finds her blowing up a version of her “CATFISH” set in the desert, a fitting image for closing one chapter and starting another. It’s a very solid single, and it looks like she’s building toward her long-awaited debut album, though no release date has been announced. Hopefully this is the start of a full rollout.
