Las Vegas Aces Overcome Nine-Point Halftime Deficit to Win Back-to-Back WNBA Championships
The Barclays Center in Brooklyn was buzzing for game 4 of the WNBA Finals. Las Vegas Aces fell behind in the first half 30-39 and the New York Liberty was looking like they were going to force a game 5.
But the 3s starting raining and the championship mentality started taking over late in the game. A’ja Wilson got hot and finished with 24 points to lead the Aces to a 70-69 point win. The Liberty had a good look at the end but Vandersloot shot was way off giving the Aces their back-to-back title.
A’ja Wilson wins the MVP after a 24 point performance and an amazing 16 rebounds. Congrats to Las Vegas Aces and it’s time to party in the desert.
