Just like that, the Lollapalooza 2026 is here. This year Charli XCX, Tate McRae and Lorde will be headlining the event but like every year the aftershows entices many attenedees and non-attendes. With many artists in town small venues capitalizing on hosting smaller shows for core fans to catch their favorite DJ, bands, or solo artists. Major Lazer at Sound-Bar — Thursday, July 30

Major Lazer, the Grammy-nominated trio behind global hits like “Lean On” and “Cold Water,” brings their high-energy blend of dancehall, reggae, and electronic sounds to Sound-Bar’s multi-level dance floor. Doors open at 10 PM for this 21+ show, so expect a packed room ready to dance all night.

Julia Wolf at Reggies Rock Club — Thursday, July 30

Julia Wolf, who broke through with her surprise Drake collaboration “Dog House,” brings her ethereal vocals and self-produced alt-pop sound to Reggies Rock Club, with support from Money. Doors open at 10 PM for this 17+ show, a rare chance to catch her up close before the festival crowds take over Grant Park again.

Chicago native John Summit turns his hometown into home turf for a full-circle weekend, headlining Lollapalooza before throwing his own official aftershow at Radius.
