Watch Nicolas Cage Transform Into John Madden
With Thursday Night Football in full effect, Prime Video unveils the official trailer for the highly anticipated Madden biopic. The legendary coach, broadcaster, and video game inspiration will finally get his story told on the big screen, with Nicolas Cage stepping into the role. Director David O. Russell secured a star-studded cast that includes Christian Bale as Al Davis, Kathryn Hahn, Sienna Miller, John Mulaney, and Shane Gillis. Football wouldn’t be what it is today without John Madden, he lived and breathed the game, and his fingerprints are all over the sport as we know it, from the sidelines to the broadcast booth to the video game that carries his name. It’s great to see his story finally hitting the big screen. Fans following this week’s Thursday Night Football matchup know Madden’s legacy lives on well beyond the film, just ask this year’s Madden NFL 27 cover athlete Caleb Williams.
