Despite global tensions, preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup continue as the tournament heads to North America, with matches set to be played across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, including host venues like MetLife Stadium. The U.S. Men’s National Team is scheduled to face Paraguay on June 12, and Nike is making sure they take the pitch in style.
Nike has continued to build momentum around global football events, previously releasing its What The Football short film ahead of the Women’s World Cup. Nike and U.S. Soccer have officially unveiled the new 2026 National Team kits, drawing inspiration from the iconic designs worn during the 1994 World Cup. While U.S. Soccer was partnered with adidas at the time, Nike reimagines the classic look with a modern twist, including updated horizontal striping and refreshed detailing. To debut the kits, U.S. Soccer brought together top stars from both the men’s and women’s teams, including Diego Luna, Rose Lavelle, Alyssa Thompson, and Max Arfsten. The new kits will be worn across all 27 U.S. Soccer teams.
With a growing number of American players competing at a high level in Europe, U.S. Soccer enters the 2026 World Cup with strong momentum. Playing on home soil could provide a major advantage, but international competition is always intense, with experienced European squads often making deep tournament runs. Fans can now purchase the new U.S. Soccer kits through Nike ahead of the World Cup.
