Paramount+ Unveils The Trailer For ‘How Music Got Free’ Documentary

Paramount+‘s latest documentary will take viewers back to the early 2000s. This was the era of Napster, Kazaa, Limewire, and many other programs that changed the music industry. The Alexandria Stapleton-directed documentary How Music Got Free will reflect how piracy had artists, executives, and music stores on the edge.

The documentary premiered earlier this year at SXSW and included cameos from Emimen, 50 Cent, Rocsi Diaz, Timbaland, Rhymefest, and more. The artists will look back at how technology and piracy challenged their craft and eventually shoook the music industry.

How Music Got Free premiere’s June 11th on Paramount+.
