Sunday Night Football: Detroit Lions vs San Francisco 49ers Odds + Preview
Lions Expected to Play Starters in Meaningless Game
Dan Campbell is not taking his foot off the gas. He has already clinched the division but still has his eye on the top spot in the NFC. But that won’t happen until they play the Minnesota Vikings at home next week. For tonight, the starters are set to go and ready to play in San Francisco against the 49ers.
Last Home For The 49ers After Disappointing Season
The 49ers were coming off a Super Bowl appearance, and the expectations for this season were high. But the injury bug hit them with superstar after superstar getting hurt, and just couldn’t get back on track. The NFC is too stacked and if you’re not healthy it will be very hard to compete. They hope to put on a show for their fans in their last home game of the season.
Don’t Count The Lions Out
Dan Campbell is an excellent coach, and whether the starters play or not, his guys will be ready to go. Despite the injuries on defense, the offense is too good and will not let them leave San Francisco with a loss. This is good preparation for next week’s showdown against the Vikings.
Bet responsively.
