Prime Video has released the teaser trailer for The Greatest, an authorized series about Muhammad Ali’s life, executive produced by his widow Lonnie Ali and Michael B. Jordan. The eight-episode series stars Jaalen Best as Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali and covers his journey from Olympic gold medalist to heavyweight champion. It premieres on Prime Video November 4, 2026.

Muhammad Ali’s legacy continues as Prime Video has secured the rights to an authorized series titled The Greatest, chronicling the life of the boxing and cultural icon. Ali’s widow, Lonnie Ali, serves as executive producer, alongside Michael B. Jordan and JAY-Z‘s Roc Nation.

In 2001, Will Smith starred as the boxing legend in the feature film Ali, which focused on roughly a decade of his life. The Greatest takes a different approach: an eight-episode series covering Ali’s rise from Olympic gold medalist to heavyweight champion between 1960 and 1964.
