2024 NFL Season Kickoff: Ravens at Chiefs

Just like that, football is back. The 2024 NFL season kickoff is here with a tremendous matchup on a Thursday night. The Super Bowl LVIII winners, the Kansas City Chiefs, host Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium for week 1.

What more can fans ask for week one and the start of football season. The Chiefs will begin their run for a three-peat led by Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and a handful of new weapons for offense and defense. The NFL season is long, and anything can happen on any given Sunday. The Chiefs open the season as one of the favorites to win the title again, but they will have a target on their back all season long. We will see if Taylor Swift will be in attendance to cheer her boyfriend and we know the cameras will be looking for her the entire game.

As for the Ravens, Lamar is still there and added Derrick Henry to the offense to make another playoff push and hopefully get over the hump. They are still well coached and during the regular season, the Ravens look strong, but things seem to fall apart under pressure and in the playoffs. Week 1 is an excellent test for them to get the season started on the right foot.
