Real Madrid Wins 13th Champions League Cup

Real Madrid made history Saturday by beating Liverpool Saturday in a close and wild UEFA Champions League final. Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t score but helped Real win their third consecutive titled in the modern era and he also became the first to win five titles.

Mohamed Salah was injured early in the game and was forced to leave the match with a shoulder injury. Gareth Bale scored one the best goals in Champions League history with an overhead-bicycle kick and a second one to close the match. The game was close, but two costly errors by Liverpool’s goalie Loris Karius helped Madrid win the title.
